Please Read CarefullyTOURNAMENT INFORMATION1. PLEASE return your Registration Form and Roster sheet immediately after receiving it. The roster spreadsheet is used for the Tournament Program, so be sure all spelling and names are correct. You have forty eight hours to confirm your place in the Finals by emailing your entry form then mailing hard copy with payment. Payment must be received within 10 days of your Regional win. You may contact John Mellor at fax and phone or email: sarniasilverstick@sympatico.caif you have any problems with rosters. 2. Tournament dates are JANUARY 20th, 21st & 22nd - 2012 3. WE DO NOT PROVIDE BILLETING. 4. HOTEL / MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS are the responsibility of each team. A list of area hotels and motels is available from the web site. NOTE: Teams staying in Port Huron, please allow enough time to clear customs and immigration. Answers to border crossing requirement questions can be found at: www.goborder.com 5. Tournament format is a three game round robin in all divisions. 6. Length of games: ATOM - 10 stop 10 stop 15 stop MIDGET - 10 stop 15 stop 15 stop Overtime will be played in semi-final and Championship games only. 7. There are no time-outs allowed. 8. Standings will be based on points. Win = 2 pts. Tie = 1 pts. 9. Each team roster shall not be greater than 25, which include five registered/carded team officials. Each team must register on a Tournament Roster/Signature form prior to their first game. TAKE THIS FORM AFTER EACH GAME, it must be presented to the Tournament Marshall prior to each game. If a player is delayed in their arrival, be sure to include their name on the Roster/Signature form as changes will not be allowed after the team’s first game. 10. Game roster is nineteen players including two goalies, except Midget AAA where CHA rules allow for twenty players on the game roster. Players may be substituted between games. 11. Each entrant must provide his or her own insurance in the event of injuries. International Silver Stick Finals and Sarnia Hockey Association will not be held responsible for injuries that occur. We suggest that you have medical authorization or release forms signed by the parents or legal guardians. 12. The SCHEDULE IS FINAL. If tournament officials deem a revision necessary, you will be notified of any TIME OR ARENA CHANGES that effect YOUR TEAM. The names that appear on the preliminary schedule represent the name of the REGIONAL TOURNAMENT. 13. Please be ready to play twenty minutes prior to game time. Your game may start early.
14. Approved/Stamped U.S.A. hockey roster forms will be required of all U.S. teams. Canadian teams must provide their C.H.A. cards or electronic roster sheets. 15. All teams must present a valid TRAVEL PERMIT from their association prior to their opening game. 16. There is no admission charge for the games. 17. Referees are governed by the Canadian Hockey Association. 18. Atom / Squirt is a no hit division. This is by OHF/CHA rule.
